This year, students must score at least:

• 30 percent in three subjects
• 40 percent in three subjects, including Home Language

Check Matric Result by Examination Number

Checking the result through your examination number is the most common method. It allows you to see your detailed result within seconds.

To check your result, enter your examination number in the search option provided by the official website or result platform. After submitting, your full subject wise result will appear.

Check Matric Result by Name

Students can also check their Matric Results by name. This method is useful if you have lost your examination number.

Enter your full name exactly as it appears on your registration. A list of students with matching names will appear. Select your name to view your result.

However, this method can be difficult if many students have the same name. If possible, use the examination number method.

Check Matric Result by SMS

This method is helpful for students who do not have internet access.

To check your result by SMS:

Send your examination number to the official SMS code provided by the Department
Wait for the reply with your obtained marks
You will receive a message with your total marks. This method does not provide detailed results.

Check Matric Result at School or Exam Centre
